The person behind the practice

A teacher trained where yoga is studied as discipline, therapy, and service.

Yashaswi Pandey founded YogArunyam to make authentic yoga feel approachable: warm, precise, science-aware, spiritually rooted, and never performative.

Yashaswi Pandey

Training and philosophy

Ancient method, modern clarity.

Yashaswi completed B.Sc. Yoga from Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya, Shantikunj, Haridwar. Her teaching brings together asana, pranayama, meditation, yogic psychology, and practical lifestyle rhythm.

The goal is not to impress you with difficult postures. The goal is to help you listen to your body, regulate your breath, and build a practice you can repeat without fear.

What students often notice first

  • Instructions are simple and never rushed.
  • Modifications are treated as wisdom, not weakness.
  • Breathwork is introduced gently and explained clearly.
  • Spiritual ideas are practical, not preachy.

Guiding principles

Four values shape every class.

01

Sadhana

Consistency over intensity. Small daily practice creates trust in the body.

02

Seva

Teaching as service. The class adapts to the person, not the ego of the teacher.

03

Swadhyaya

Self-study. Students learn to observe breath, thoughts, posture, and patterns.

04

Yukti

Practical wisdom. Tradition is translated into routines that fit real life.

"Yoga should make you feel more at home in your body."

That is the standard every YogArunyam class is built around.
